Focus Group works on the basis that every client requires a different service and a different type of candidate. For this reason, our consultants specialise in various industries to ensure that clients are perfectly matched with a consultant that can thoroughly help their recruitment process.

Step One - Profiling

A Focus Group consultant that specialises in your industry will gather as much information about your contract needs, working environments, and requirements, such as responsibilities. From here, our consultant can help you to develop a job specification, including a brief description, as well as the skills, qualifications and experience required for the role.

Step Two - Outreaching

The specification you and our specialist consultant have designed will then be distributed on various job databases and online platforms for candidates to apply. In some cases, we may already have a candidate in mind, in which case, we will send your job specification directly to them.

Step Three - Identifying Suitable Candidates

Applicants will then be checked to see if their CV meets your company needs according to the guidelines our consultant agreed with you. Upon your approval, our consultants will contact these candidates to arrange for a pre-employment screening or digital interviews that you would like to complete.

Step Four - Screening

Focus Group will be in contact with the candidate, asking them for pre-interviewing with our consultant before coming into contact with you, ensuring they make for a viable fit for the position. When the candidate agrees to a time and date, we will set up either a digital interview or a phone call between yourself and the candidate, with questions our consultant helped you to design.

Step Five - Vetting

After the digital interview, you can decide whether you would like to go further with this particular candidate. If so, then we will contact the candidate to ask for permission to complete thorough vetting on your behalf. These results will be shared with you, in which you can then decide to proceed or look for a new candidate.

Step Six - Interviewing

Once passed the pre-screening and interviews, a face-to-face interview will be arranged with you and a selection of candidates, allowing you to ask further questions to delve deeper into their knowledge and personality. After this, you can either narrow the candidates further for another interview or decided who will be successful.

Step Seven - Employment Or Replacement

If the candidates that were supplied to you are successful, then our consultants will continue with communication to ensure that everything runs smoothly, keeping your records on file to make your next recruitment process simple. On the other hand, if none of the candidates are successful, the Focus Group will offer you free replacement to ensure that the position is filled with a quality candidate.
